The best way to sum up a long day at work is with a glass of beer and a smile. It’s also a good time to look at the big picture and the small stuff, like a shiny new award. A lot has happened at the office over the past year. We’ve got a few new faces and a few old ones, including new Assistant District Attorney and former DA, David Sokolski. This is an exciting time to be in San Francisco. And you have a chance to be in the thick of it. If your job requires you to work in the field, chances are you’ll be on the front lines at some point or another. Thankfully, there are companies that have your back. One of these is the Cannabis Technology Center, which was founded in 2007. In fact, the center’s founding director, Robin Arkley Sr., has a a lot to say about the industry.

The San Francisco 49ers may have beaten the Buccaneers to a pulp in their first division scrimmage, but the Bucs certainly were not out of the woods as evidenced by a slew of snafus on a Sunday. Despite an impressive second half, the Bucs fell on a stout defensive front and suffered a rare mishap during the game’s lonesome minutes. Hopefully they can rebound in style after the bye month. Until then, a trip to the Bay Area for some quality R&R and a big bowl of the aforementioned slammers is in order. Big, big time. Is yours truly up for the task?
